I don’t know if it evoked memories of the tropical surf, like the description says but it did have a tropical taste with a little spiciness in the background. The dry tea leaves had a unique aroma - somewhere between fruity candy or fermenting hops. The tea was loaded with ingredients but they didn’t overpower each other and went together reasonably well. The overall flavor was mildly, sweetly fruity. The finish had a decent astringency. An acceptable tea that tastes good iced with a bit of sugar or honey.
