Teatulia believes in social responsibly - tea direct from the garden. They use a “natural†Farming method. They have a co-op system that is oriented for future growth. Their garden is the only tea garden in Bangladesh to be USDA certified Organic.The leaves were small with a faint apricot aroma. When the leaves became infused there was a familiar smell, something like being outside?? It was like the smell of a pumpkin garden on a crisp fall day. The color of the tea was a deep brown.
The taste was full and rich. After it sat a bit, there was a subtle sweetness that came through. It would be great as a breakfast tea and would especially go with some scones.
I would definitely try this tea again.
