If you've read some of my other reviews, you know I love mint tea. It's overdone, sure, but if it's done right, it's refreshing, cleansing, and calming. While I always try whatever mint tea I come across, no matter what tea it's blended with, I don't think I've ever had just a mint and rooibos blend that wasn't loaded with other herbs and flavors (don't get me wrong, I love blends with lots of spice and fruit, but I love mint so much sometimes I just want it by itself). That being the case, I was excited to try this one.You don't really detect the rooibos in the scent of this blend, it's all peppermint. My Grandma grows spearmint and peppermint, and the mint here smells pure and clean, like I'd just picked it from her backyard.
This tea has wonderful flavor. The rooibos makes an excellent base for the peppermint, it's natural sweetness pairs perfectly with it. This blend is great; whether you're starting your day, or getting ready for bed. It's soothing and refreshing. This is easily my favorite mint blend (other people think so, too. This blend won best mint blend at the 2008 World Tea Championship).

The blending of two of my favorite teas, peppermint and rooibos, had me going to tea heaven.
