Revolution's Earl Grey, is one of those teas where you have to do a double take. Wow! Was this an ever interesting blend of Black teas mixed with Oil of Bergemot and lavender. I am a huge Earl Grey fan, and this tea brings an exciting new twist to your usual Earl Grey. When steeped for 3 minutes, this will produce a strong cup of flavorful tea. It is dark, smooth, and has much flavor, perhaps more floral flavor than one would wish. I prefer my Earl Grey teas to be a bit on the stronger side. I love the aroma of this tea mixed with the lavender. The lavender seems to dominate the Oil of Bergemot though. I wish the lavender were not as strong. I wouldn't mind enjoying a cup of Earl with only a hint of floral. Other than that, I really love this tea.
When drinking this tea, I tend to only sweeten a little if at all. The lavender on it's own has such a sweet perfume flavor, that adding to much sugar will only intensify this tea's flavor even more.
I probably wouldn't want to drink it on a regular basis, but more so as a once and a while cup.
