I'll be the first to confess that I prefer Green or White tea over Black, but classically speaking, I've held Earl Grey in a special place in my heart. I came to this tasting with low expectations as I believed bergamot has a special relationship to the fermentation process found in black teas, but I was wrong, dead wrong. When I first opened the package, a sweet jasmine scent wafted through my cubicle. As I was brewing, I received a rather unsavory phone call from an irate student which kicked my brew time way over the normal limits. Disheartened at the fact that I only had one bag, I resolved not to discard the cup. Accepting the anticipated brisk kick in the mouth, I was shocked at the smooth flavor of the fully unfolded tea. It did not have any astringent aftertaste, but rather gave all of the citrus notes expected with a regular cup of traditional Earl Grey without the dry tongue to follow. The aroma was similar to normal Earl Grey, but it continued to deliver the additional floral notes of Jasmine in the background. Overall, I was extremely pleased with this tea, and I will be happy to purchase it myself.

I had high hopes for this tea by the appearance and aroma. After brewing the taste was like a cup of hot water. This is without a doubt the worst product on the planet.Any positive reviews for this product are obviously company shills.Avoid ANY revolution tea like the plague.
