Voudou sells only two teas-(Purus and Olympus) On their home page it says that mountain tea is nature's ancient cold and pain reliever, and has also been part of the Mediterranean diet for two thousand years. On Reuters.com there were results from a study done with this tea, and it did show that it was useful in prevented and treating colds.As soon as I saw the flowers it reminded me of hops - home brewers will recognize the flowers. This is an herbal tea so there were no tea leaves in it. The infused aroma was like weeds. In the cup however, it was “pepperminty.†The color of the brew was a light yellow. It was a nice change, in that it was like drinking a mellow peppermint tea. I made some iced, then added some simple syrup into it and it became a lot better. This is great for a person who likes health benefits from their herbal teas and who likes a milder peppermint flavor.
