Gingersnap Cookie is a wonderfully delicious blend of sweet, fruity, and nutty flavors. Remaining true to TeaGuys reputation, the name of the tea seems to have very little relation to the ingredients in the tea. Actually, there is no ginger even included in the ingredients, unless it is encompassed by the vague "natural flavors" at the end of the ingredient list. The other ingredients include rooibos, pineapple, mango, papaya, glazed almonds, coconut, walnuts, peanuts, and hazelnuts. Visually, this was quite an attractive blend, with a generous amount of nuts present throughout. Both the aroma and the taste were delightful, although only slightly reminiscent of gingersnap cookies. This is another blend that bore a slight resemblance to other TeaGuys blends, including their Carrot Cake and Pumpkin Spice, which I just recently also reviewed. In this blend, the fruity flavors are not necessarily easily detectable, but I believe they do contribute to smoothing out the flavor to keep the spices in check. The fruit and nut ingredients also impart a natural sweetness to the tea, so no additional sweetener was necessary. This was a surprisingly tasty rooibos blend, and one that will go wonderfully with desserts. I would recommend this tea to anyone, but would caution that the name is slightly misleading- this tea offers many flavors, but I would not consider gingersnap cookie to be the dominant flavor.
