I haven't tried a lychee tea before, though I enjoy eating the fruit. The scent of the black tea seems a bit strong, but that might be a nice counterpoint to the lollipop sweetness of the fruit. I'm having this iced and I'm very pleasantly surprised at the smooth blended scent of sweetened black tea. The taste is of black tea lightly mellowed with clover honey...yum! I've never had southern sweet tea and from what I've heard, this wouldn't be sweet enough, but this is just right for people who would like a refreshing alternative to their regular tea. This is smooth and delicious. The black tea is more pronounced than the lychee flavor, but that feels just right here. Normally I'm not a fan of fruit sweetened tea, but this is converting me. Iced tea lovers have to try this.
