Geoff’s Teaview Snapshot
"While not quite like licking a peach can clean of contents, this blend is exceptional. I had it for three days straight prior to a work shift, smiling as I sipped."

Zhi Tea is three for three. Yes, that rhyme was on purpose. After lurking reluctance when first trying one of their teas, I can safely say their batting average is well above bronze par. But I'm done butchering sports metaphors...The ingredients listed whole leaf oolong plus real peach and ginger pieces. Such a declaration made me wonder what fake pieces tasted like, let alone how one fakes a peach. But I digress.
A bit of personal history here: I love peaches. Love 'em. Canned or whole? Don't care. One impractical habit I developed as a kid was swigging the juicy remnants from a used peach can. It's better than it sounds, trust me. If this tea captured any of that nostalgia, I was in for a treat.
Prior to steeping, the leaves let off a pungent aroma of ginger lining a peachy center. A usually-strong oolong scent was missing, not that I cared. I brewed this up in 200-degree water, 3 teaspoons in 12 ounces, for four minutes. Once infused, the bronze liquor smelled similar to hot cider. Ginger and oolong took a swift backseat to the fruit-flanked taste.
While not quite like licking a peach can clean of contents, this blend is exceptional. I had it for three days straight prior to a work shift, smiling as I sipped. My burps tasted good too...er...though that wasn't a requirement. This is - without exaggeration - the best oolong I've ever tasted.

I love this tea. I got a sample from them a while ago and I adore it. It’s fantastic with some honey too.
They have the best fruit tea blends I’ve tasted. Period.
My Rating:

9/10
