"Tankha" just so you know is a Tibetan Buddhist tapestry. They are trying to show a correlation with the rich flavors in their tea. The tea is from the Phoobsering Plantation in Darjeeling, which has an elevation of 6,ooo feet. This is enticing because I remember a presentation by James Norwood Pratt saying the higher the elevation, the better the tea. This plantation is projecting to be fully organic by 2010. The dry leaves were different colors with a smaller size than most teas. These leaves were more open when infused than other Oolongs. The color was a light amber. In the cup the aroma really smells good. This was a smooth, refreshing, great tasting tea with a little sweetness to it. There was a fuller body and a nice long finish. This did wind up having a rich flavor and I will have to buy some soon.
