Numi’s Teaview Snapshot
"The darker yellow tea is strong enough that my wimpy old lady constitution wouldn't be able to take this late at night, but it would be perfect for the early afternoon or to gear up for an all day or all evening project."

This tea is strong, a touch tannic, with a light body that smells great. The scent has a bit of sweetness that isn't evident at first, but comes out a few moments later. There's something similar to Gyokuro in this...it is fresh and grassy but the sweetness adds something different and pleasant. The dried tea is very little bits of tea leaves that become a mass of deep, almost seaweed green partial leaves in the pot. The darker yellow tea is strong enough that my wimpy old lady constitution wouldn't be able to take this late at night, but it would be perfect for the early afternoon or to gear up for an all day or all evening project.Their website is bouldertea.com, which is a little confusing since just google-ing "Boulder Tea" results in a few similarly labeled teas. Their website could also do with an update. It is simple and easy to navigate, which is good, but it's not as appealing as many many other tea websites that use this medium to draw customers in as well, not just exist as a utilitarian tool. This is a great tea that's hidden behind a poorly designed website.
