Numi’s Teaview Snapshot
"It's surprisingly strong in a way that makes this good for the morning wake-up call and for the shoulder shake needed later on in the day."

The aroma of this green tea from India is a delicious mix of oolong and something dark and hearty. The dark and hearty part is reminiscent of a blooming forest in the nighttime, simultaneously quiet and full of life. It's light in color, but brisk and refreshing in flavor. It's surprisingly strong in a way that makes this good for the morning wake-up call and for the shoulder shake needed later on in the day. There is a touch of dryness in the aftertaste that works well here too. There is a gyokuro-like vegetal taste that I love. In fact, the more I drink, the more this reminds me of gyokuro, which is a bit of a jolt since the leaves look nothing alike. The Shanti tea leaves are long and twisted in their dried form, then turn into pretty light green whole leaves lying comfortably next to each other in the filter. I'm going to savor the rest of what I've got and consider getting more.
