Thumbs up!"This tea also seems softer in flavor than less refined teas, leading to less dryness (yeah!) yet retains enough body to avoid the frustration of drinking beautifully scented water. The overall effect is a jasmine that is demure and ravishingly beautiful at once."

grandteapearljasmineI tend to choose jasmine teas almost ad nauseum but I love hunting for jasmines that nearly drown me in the gorgeously fragrant scent, while reviving me with a light, medium-body bouquet and very little dry aftertaste. Basically I'm looking for what feels like an elixer of life, either that or a perfume and mouthwash in one. I realize dreams and reality rarely mesh, but Grand Tea's Premium Pearl Jasmine tea gives me hope that wonderful things can happen. The tight little fists of tea became long beautiful leaves that are typical of a lot of high end jasmine teas, but the softly enveloping fragrance is so wonderful that it seems gentler and more present than other jasmine tea scents. This tea also seems softer in flavor than less refined teas, leading to less dryness (yeah!) yet retains enough body to avoid the frustration of drinking beautifully scented water. The overall effect is a jasmine that is demure and ravishingly beautiful at once. As a note, I steeped it for a touch less than three minutes the first time and loved it. At the second steeping I went a bit over and the tea was a bit drier.
