Its OK"If neither cost nor variety are a concern for you, I definitely recommend investing in Neem Nectar as a way to step out of the box. If they are a concern for you, I recommend sucking it up and buying some Teatulia anyway."

neem.gifIn reading the other reviews about this tea, I noticed several others already gave brief explanations about what the herb neem is, so I'll skip reiterating that and will mostly focus on my personal experience with this tea.

Teatulia poses a bit of a problem for me. I rate teas on a variety of components, culminating in a final number that is, essentially, the likelihood that I would purchase that tea for myself. Their website doesn't have a lot of variety, and all their teas are on the higher end of the price scale, which are two things I take into account. If it was almost any other company, I could just find similar teas elsewhere and toss my money at a company that meets more of my many preferences. Unfortunately, the Teatulia teas I've tried have been so ridiculously unique that I doubt I could find anything to replace them. Good news for Teatulia - bad news for Katie.

That being said, the flavour of their Neem Nectar is extremely interesting and unique and strange enough that it's definitely not something I could drink every day. It is a bit grainy/bready, rich, dry, and goes incredibly well with savoury food.

If I based this rating solely on flavour and related components, I would give this more along the lines of a 7.5-8.0. As it stands, however, they're a bit out of my price range and don't have a lot to choose from. If neither of those are a concern for you, I definitely recommend investing in Teatulia teas, including Neem Nectar, as a way to step out of the box. If they are a concern for you, I recommend sucking it up and buying some Teatulia anyway.
