This scent is unusual. It's deep, with intricate weavings. I'm not completely certain that I like it, but it isn't unpleasant either. I suppose it depends on which door you open, as the air seems to morph as you carry on the process. The scent continues to evolve after brewing, and it is sweeping. Again, I am uncertain as to how I would rate this change; it is complex but reasonable.The flavor is strong, considering the basis for the tea, even after three minutes. It rides heavy in the mouth, and with a thorough splash, the tastes are thick and daring. I feel weighted, a feeling furthered as I continue with the beverage. The taste swirls about, shifting to either side of a strange spectrum, and ultimately I enjoy the tea most during the first and last sips.
Unfamiliar with this style of tea, I was intrigued by the concept. In hindsight, I dislike the theory behind its design. Prior to posting, I digested others' reviews, but have settled on the same numeric value and emotional response that I initially contracted. On a very personal level, I feel that this merging of flavors is excessively adventurous, to such an extent that it violates our treaty with the leaves and results in a marginal product.
