Upon reading the description of this tea, I was intrigued by the fact that it appears to be your average herbal fruit blend, except that it contains mint. I was also a bit worried that the mint would either not be present at all, or it would be too overpowering and not blend well with the fruit flavors. Fortunately, I had nothing to worry about. The smell is distinctly minty, with some almost floral undertones. Definitely not what I was expecting. The flavor is a little closer, but I was still surprised by the mint. At first, it tastes like any ol' fruit blend. But the aftertaste is when the mint hits - not too strong, but definitely there. It's a lovely and interesting combination. Without any sweetener, it is a bit tangy, but a pinch of sugar brings out the fruit a little bit while mellowing the tangy factor (the mint is pleasantly unaffected by it, however). Iced is good too, but the mint is lacking a bit for my tastes.
Bottom line: If you like fruity herbal blends and are looking for something a bit different, it's worth a sample, at least. It's advertised as an energizing morning tea, but personally, it's too fruity for me to drink in the morning. I do think it would make a heck of a pick-me-up in the late afternoon, though.
