Thumbs up!"This smells and tastes refreshing, fruity and lemony. I taste the papaya more than the pineapple. The ginger adds a touch of zing to the blend although I could personally stand a touch more ginger."

tropical-sunset-copy.jpgTea Guys states "This fusion of white and green tea blended with papaya and pineapple evokes memories of tropical surf, sun and breezes. Each cupful is a healthy taste of sunshine with a touch of ginger". The flavors do overpower the white tea taste a bit in this one (though technically it is blended with green tea), but this is still very good. My sample contains candied fruit and does have some pretty small pieces and shake in it. If you are looking for really high quality white (and green) tea with a subtle after-taste of flavoring--this is probably not for you.

Tea Guys seems to be an innovative organization when it comes to their blends. Some of them are great (Strawberry Kiwi, Carrot Cake, Chocolate Coconut Truffle) and some of them are not your everyday version of a blend (Caramel Green-- cuz it features toasted rice). Most of their blends seem worthy of your consideration and Papaya Ginger is no exception.

This smells and tastes refreshing, fruity and lemony. I taste the papaya more than the pineapple. The ginger adds a touch of zing to the blend although I could personally stand a touch more ginger. This was good with and without a little sugar. My sample was big enough to get 3-4 cups out of it and I found after a bit of trial and error that I like this best with more tea used than suggested. I imagine this would be very good iced and the flavors stand out enough that it can handle an ice cube's melting a bit. If this sounds like you think you'd like, then you probably will.
