"Suddenly I was transported into some old memories from the fall I had from the aroma."

I don’t know what memory that I’m thinking of right know while smelling the steeping rooibos tea - Is it that freshly picked apple aroma from those stacked big boxes of apples in the stands in Oak Glen from my childhood with my parents or in the fall going apple picking with my husband and sister-in-law in upstate New York many moons ago? Frank (the owner of 52 teas) says he really likes to blend teas, which I think led him to the new additional website. There have been some very interesting teas through the months on his website. It’s fun to hear the story that leads up to the blend.I always like to see real ingredients in flavored teas. In this rooibos blend I saw chunks of apples, flower petals and, as I opened up my sample, it just reminded me of mulled cider. I really enjoyed drinking this Rooibos tea. The flavors complemented each other, the apple did not over power the flavor. In the cup there was a little bit of a floral aroma in the background that was surprising. I added a little bit of some raw honey and it really brought out the spices. I really enjoyed this tea.
