At first I wasn’t very excited to try a lemongrass tea since I haven’t had the greatest experiences with them, but when I sniffed the dried tea, the scent of something chocolately struck me and I had to try it. This is a mix of dried lemongrass, apples, citrus, and vanilla—so maybe the chocolately scent I detected was the vanilla—whatever it is, the overall effect of the dried tea is of standing over a chocolate lemon tart—yum! The lemon and chocolate are well balanced in both the scent and the taste, and lingers nicely. This is a good comfort tea—warming, energizing, and sweet. This would be another welcome addition to an herbal tea lover’s collection, as well as something to consider for a children’s tea party. I think this would taste better hot than iced, and it is fine without any additions. Lemon tea lovers should try this too.
