"In order to have the full blueberry muffin dessert experience, you need to sweeten this just a tad and give it a splash of dairy (I chose fat free half & half). This is just plain delicious.

So when I sat down to review this blend tonight I was thinking to myself that I was likely to be the spoiler in the Teaview's Staff love affair with this blend. Not that I take any pride in being a spoiler but, after all, it is just blueberry rooibos. While I like blueberry, I don't love blueberry. Further, blueberry teas are a dime a dozen. It seems like every tea company in the world offers some type of blueberry tea, and while many of them are decent, there are many that are horribly wrong. I personally find that a lot of them just taste very artificial or have some weird aftertaste that reminds me of medicine. However, to cut to the chase, this is blueberry muffins in a cup!Baxter is vague in its description of this blend and simply describes it as rooibos tea with natural blueberry pieces. There are, in fact, little dried blueberries in the blend as well as some flower shreds that I am not of the ambition to attempt to identify. I used my usual rooibos preparation for this---boiling water and 5 min infusion. When your first sip of something makes you go, "Mmmmm!", then you know that it deserves a good score. In order to have the full blueberry muffin dessert experience, you need to sweeten this just a tad and give it a splash of dairy (I chose fat free half & half). This is just plain delicious.
I actually had to pace myself while writing this review so that I didn't have to make a second cup in order to finish the review. I was consuming it that fast! I would have been happy to indulge in the second cup if I weren't writing this right before bed and would rather not be up using the restroom all night. This is Blueberry Rooibos perfection. While I never dreamed that I would rate any blueberry tea above an 8, this blend proves me wrong. If you like blueberries and rooibos in the least, then this is a must try.
P.S. Blueberry Rooibos is great when mixed in with a little Earl Grey Le Creme. Oh, and I did end up making another cup before bed and suffered the consequences!
