This blend was a winner for the mint category at the 2008 World Tea Expo. As I have said before, their website has a lot of very interesting information to look at. They suggest serving this tea with a wedge of lemon or lime, which sounds like an interesting idea - if only I had some. Bummer, I bet that would make it quite refreshing. The instant I open the package I can tell that there is a ton of mint. When I poured the water over it, the mint aroma was a little overpowering and the mint pieces became a nice deep green. The mint overwhelmed the rooibos. I could taste another flavor in it which I was not able to identify until I read the ingredients. It was bergamot. When it was iced I could taste more of the bergamot flavor. If you are a big fan of mint and worry about the caffeine in teas, this could be a good rooibos blend for you.
