This is an herbal mix of vervaine, marshmallow leaf, ginger, and peppermint. If the goal of this tea is to make an evening pleasant and happy, they’ve done a good job. I’m not always a fan of herbal teas and have developed an increasing dislike of chamomile tea (I’m pretty sure it helps people sleep by boring them to death), so I’m appreciative of this company’s latest chamomile-free herbal effort. The dried tea is a colorful assortment with purple, red, yellow, and orange colored petals and dried citrus mixed in with the bits of green tea fragments. After 4 minutes of brewing time, the initial taste is of citrusy sweetness and light ginger-induced spice. The effect is tasty and appealing. The peppermint is light enough to balance the other flavors without being overwhelming, and the ginger adds enough warmth to make the overall effect comforting. A great all-around herbal.
