Troy’s Teaview Snapshot

It took me several hours to figure out that Pipin is the Pink Elephant that serves as the companies mascot. Not sure why on earth a tea company would have a Pink Elephant as a mascot, all the chromatic pachyderms I've ever laid eyes upon owed more to vino and Vodka then any herbal. Still I suppose its cute, and the packaging indicates that its targeted at children at any rate.First off, my niggling niggle, this is an Herbal blend of dried Strawberries, and doesn't appear to contain any tea whatsoever. its fragrant, and well formed behind the flimsy Vail of the nylon-esque teabag. It seemed to take forever, which translates to ten minutes of furious waiting, to get any kind of real flavour out of the bag. Its a very mild blend, this isn't a failing of this blend in particular, but an unfortunate side effect of being a fruit tisane
Its definitely strawberry, not the sort of overwhelming, knock your socks off, tongue tingling strawberry I was hoping for, but a mild white-tea-esque hint of strawberry. While I know its a sin to say it in public (may the Tisane Lord be merciful to a good friend of the Tea Pope) but I think they should have infused more flavour into the dried fruit, its a common technique to make up for the general weakness of au-natural blends such as this. That said, its not bad, while its not really my thing, it might work for kids wanting to play tea, which I suspect is their market in the first place.
