I think this was one of the very first websites I bought tea from. It’s great for trying new teas because they are very reasonable at usually $2 for their smallest amount - which even comes in a tin. These tins are durable and reusable. For some reason, long ago, I kept saving mine when I would order and now I have a 50 slot shelf that holds them for tea. They’re perfect for anyone, especially people new to tea. Their web design is great with information, ratings, background information, colors - you name it. They have a tea community which consists of Teamuse, Teachat, and Teamap (which I have use extensively every time I go on vacation to see what tearooms I want to go visit.) If you haven’t used Teamap to find a tea shop, you haven’t looked for one. I see they are even going to sell tea cookies and tea chocolates soon. Yum.As for the tea, the dry leaves had a nice strong aroma and there were chunks of dried apple and spices. When I infused the leaves there was more of an apple scent. It reminded me of visiting cider mills in upstate New York - the old style ones that stacked frames with burlap wrapped apple slurry and used gravity to squish the juice out. The color in the cup was a rich mahogany and smells quite good. There was too much clove in the taste but it was still enjoyable with a just a hint of apple in the after taste. More cinnamon would have been beneficial.
