Chai, Baby! is a relatively new company started by a lawyer who longed for the teas of her childhood. I thought this was a very interesting story, and was intrigued by the blend names (beauty, energy, relaxation) and wanted to know what kinds of tea chai, baby! would think could induce these things. Unfortunately, beauty blend missed the mark for me. I love rooibos tea, but the scent and the flavor just didn't do it for me. The smell of the tea has a sour, almost medicinal scent to it that made me leary to even taste. The tea was less astringent, and palatable, but the flavor combination was just off for my palate. Rooibos couples with hibiscus, chamomile, and various unmentioned "earthy" fruits to produce beauty blend. It's a caffiene free and each sachet can be used 2-3 times.One thing I do like about this company is the pyramid tea sachet. This allows for more whole leaf, and bigger fruit pieces that can swim around inside the sachet as it brews. This allows for a higher quality cup of tea than the smaller tea bags can allow. The ingredients were right and seemed of nice quality, but the combination of the components was less than ideal.
