I think this was the perfect tea to take on my trip to Florida. We did a lot of coastal sight seeing coupled with lots of dinners at various tiki themed restaurants and visits to Jimmy Buffett's restaurants. There was nothing better to keep the vibe going than an early morning or evening cup of this pineapple strawberry tea! The brewed tea was very pretty, almost the color of Dole canned pineapple, a pale yellow.The mix of green and white tea give this blend a very delicate, sweet flavor. Pineapple is the most prominent, with tart strawberry on the finish. It is very sweet on its own, and I caution sweetening this tea very much as I had to pour away my first cup after adding a whole packet of TruVia. The second cup I added about half a packet and it was great. I've never seen this blend in stores though, so I'm not sure where else to get it other than from the web site, but it is very reasonably priced, at less than $5 for a 20 pack, I could easily stock up and try their other varieties.
I've never heard of Hawaiian Natural teas and they seem to be an all organic company. Their web site says: "Hawaii is the melting pot of the Pacific and a gourmet's paradise. Hawaiian Natural Tea's fusion of flavors and organic leaves are a fresh, contemporary tea experience celebrating the exotic tastes and rich traditions of the Islands." They seem to only have three varieties of tea, but they are all tropical fruit blends that evoke thoughts of the islands.
