Yuzu is an interesting little citrus fruit from East Asia. Apparently, it is often confused with the pomelo, both of which possess some grapefruit-like qualities. In my opinion, neither of these fruits are as useful or as edible as the grapefruit. Nonetheless, both the yuzu and the pomelo are used to create various consumables ranging from jams to teas. The scent of the dry leaves is extremely close to the scent of fresh grapefruit. Post-steep, that scent becomes the sharper, sweeter scent of its East Asian brethren. It's also somewhat similar to the lychee-like aroma of sliced rambutan, which is quite delectable.
Having brewed several cups at different times and temperatures and quantities, two truths remain constant throughout. The first is that this tastes a lot like grapefruit juice. The site explains that the tea is layered with the yuzu to truly blend the flavor and aroma. Certainly, the process is respectable, but the yuzu is much, much stronger than the oolong. Personally, I enjoy grapefruit juice, so this isn't a complete disaster. It is unusual, however, and should be avoided by all who don't care for the juice.
The second truth is that the consistency is thinner than I would prefer. Attempting steep times and quantities of dry leaves that were all over the board, I never found the texture I was looking for.
In summation, this tea is very similar to a pulp-free grapefruit juice. I didn't notice a lot of impact from the oolong, at least partially due to the demanding presence of the yuzu. This is probably recommendable for people who enjoy both fruit-heavy teas and grapefruit (or yuzu).
