"The bloom is rather large and impressive, and only a large teapot or a tall glass will do it justice. The tea's flavor lacks any real "wow" factor, but that is made up for by its beautiful appearance."

The Exotic Teapot seems to specialize in a wide variety of blooming teas, with Marigold Meadow being one of their offerings. This bloom is made of silver needle-based bloom that opens into a "stunning blend of Jasmine, Marigold and Globe Amaranth flowers". This is also the largest bloom offered by the Exotic Teapot, and thus is described as being super-sized. This description made me smirk as I thought about going through a tea shop drive-thru window and ordering a super-sized tea. The Exotic Teapot website has a video showing the time-elapsed version of this bloom, condensing about 3 minutes of bloom time into less than 10 seconds of video. The bloom is rather large and impressive, and only a large teapot or a tall glass will do it justice. The base is silver needle leaves and on top of this are two flower blossoms made of yellow, red and white petals (from the jasmine, marigold, and globe amaranth flowers). The flavor of this tea was not as impressive as its appearance, although it was still a decent cup of tea. The primary flavors were earthy and nutty-creamy, although neither were overly strong. Surprisingly, I could taste no significant contribution from the flowers, although in my book, that's a plus. The tea's flavor lacks any real "wow" factor, but that is made up for by its beautiful appearance.
