Sweet Cherry White Tea is Chinese white tea blended with cherry and cranberry. I found it interesting (and disappointing) that I actually could't see any pieces of either fruit in my mix, so either they were very small or artifical flavorings were used. The white tea leaves themselves appeared to be of good quality and had the downy hairs characteristic of white tea. In all, this tea was mediocre and really didn't have any outstanding qualities. For starters, the cherry flavor was very weak, and given that white tea is a very subtle base for flavors, I found it particularly peculiar that the fruit flavor was so hard to taste. Secondly, the white tea, although not bad, was just not all that spectacular. IT had a natural nutty, grain-like flavor to it, but I have had better white tea. Now that I have sampled a decent array of Boston Tea's loose tea blends, it seems like their blends are hit or miss for me. Some have been very, very good, others not so much. Unfortunately, this tea falls in the latter grouping. For me, the cherry component was just too weak to make this tea worth recommending.
