I love blueberries! Fresh blueberries are one of my true joys of the summer. And now I have finally found a welcome replacement during the winter. Being caffiene free is an added bonus and just opens more times to enjoy. This infusion consists of Organic Fair Trade Certified™ rooibos, Organic blueberries, Organic schizandra berries, Organic Fair Trade Certified™ hibiscus, natural flavors of blueberry and strawberry. Opening up my sample package, the aroma of blueberries fill my senses. This sample smells so good that it is an act of will to stop sniffing and measure out some to brew. Looking at the sample, I can see several blueberries and bits of hibiscus blossoms.I brewed up my sample using 1 ½ teaspoons in 12 ounces of water that I brought to a boil and let cool for a few minutes. The aroma of my brew is still pure blueberries. I was able to pick up the scent of rooibos or hibiscus. The taste I have already raved about. I enjoyed the taste of the infusion with just a touch of sweetener but it really becomes a real treat when I added a touch of half n half. Taste reminds me now of an extra creamy blueberry ice cream without all the calories. I do recommend Rishi Tea’s Blueberry Rooibos to lovers of blueberries! I know that I plan on adding some to my next order from Rishi.
