Local Coffee + Tea sent me some of this herbal after I posted a review of their Selby Select. I mentioned that I would have preferred a blend with a different fruit than orange, and they said this would be right on the money. True to their word, this blend is similar but raspberry and decidedly more my style.As they suggested, I steeped this in boiling water for 8 minutes. The result is a great example of a well-balanced blend. The rooibos is distinct without being overwhelming, and the raspberry tastes realistic. It's great to have a decidedly raspberry herbal when so many berry teas just have a general fruity flavour without specifically differentiating themselves.
If you're not into rooibos, there's very little chance you'll like this tea. It's the red bush herbal through and through, and it's wonderful. I haven't tried it iced, but I bet it's fantastically refreshing, since it's so sweet and refreshing hot. This is a delightful little number, and I definitely recommend it.
