A mellow light green aroma introduces this gently rounded tea. Despite the black and green blend, the scent doesn't hint at the darker tea. The flavor and texture will tie nicely into this preface, as the black element provides a fair complement to a quiet green core. It all branches out from that initial waft of steam.

Offering minimal if any bitterness, the first sips and swallows are bright and energetic. The golden production inspires a velvet tongue, smooth and soft. This is a very timid texture, light and swift; nothing lingers but a bright spirit reminiscent of fresh mint. It's amazing how quaffable this is.

The title is ideal, as the proud and wholesome invocation of gold is softened by the cooler but ever amiable jade. In the same fashion that boston lettuce allows a sink in stature while lemongrass boosts adrenalin, this tea combines those spirits into a wonderful overall experience. It's a walk on rice paper.
