This herbal blend is named and created in honour of The John and Mable Museum of Art, which meant I got to learn all about it from the Local Coffee + Tea website and the place that all scholars go for accurate miscellaneous information - Wikipedia. Education and a hot beverage are certainly a winning combination.Either Local Coffee + Tea has read a few of my other reviews or they read my mind because somehow they knew to send me this blend to try when I'm a huge sucker for (well-flavoured) cherry teas. They often taste fake or resemble cough medicine, but when done well, they're the sort of thing I always want to have in my tea cupboard. So for this particular cup, I was especially looking for realism, uniqueness (sure, cherry is just cherry, but a bit of a twist is always nice), and a noticeable rooibos flavour.
This blend is precisely everything I wanted from it. It has a light-hearted, realistic cherry flavour, the rooibos is apparent but not overwhelming, the rose adds an extra layer of depth to everything, and all the flavours blend together marvelously. It's below freezing outside, so I won't be experimenting, but I'm sure this is a good tea to ice. Simple yet unique, this is a delightful and well-mixed blend.
