"Inspired by one of Italy’s most popular infusions celebrating the 15th-century Venetian artist Giovanni Bellini . . . Experience a taste of Venice from any part of the world." This tea contains organic Fair Trade green tea, organic hibiscus, organic apple pieces, organic rosehip, organic orange peel, organic licorice root, organic compliant peach flavor, organic compliant sparkling wine flavor, organic lemon peel, and organic freeze dried raspberries. The fruit, tea, and champagne (or sparkling wine, to be more specific) sounded delicious. This tea comes in round sachets, so I popped one into a clear glass mug and filled it with 208F water and let it infuse for five minutes. The garnet red liquor had a tart aroma and a tart flavor to match. I could pick out little of the peach and raspberry (Peach Melba tea?) but the rosehips and the citrus peel came through stronger and a bit harsh against a background of the other melded flavors. It's a very astringent mix. The green tea is a no show, overwhelmed by everything else. For once, though, the hibiscus didn't dominate everything else, even though it comes early in the list of ingredients. I added a teaspoon of organic sugar, but rather than bringing out more flavors, it flattened out the profile and robbed it of any personality.
My overall impression of this tea is that the flavors are rather harsh and out of balance. I'd have to pass on this one.

This doesn’t sound ANYTHING like a Bellini! A real bellini is made with white peach puree and Presecco, which is Italian sparkling white wine (not champagne). Blah.
