Today I'm too lazy (read: hung over) to bother coming up with some little quip to intro this review, so let's just skip that bit and move onto the tea. It's gotten to the point that I expect only the best from California Tea House. It's good for me because it means I'm really stoked for every opportunity to try one of their teas, and I know they're a safe bet. It's bad for them because I have really high expectations, not that it matters since they keep excelling anyway. My expectations are equally high for every Silver Needle I try, arguably my favourite tea of all time. I really change my mind about my favourite tea by the cup, but know that right now, I'm taking my white tea very seriously. This tea's leaves are massive downy white needles, and I put a heaping tablespoon in a seven-ounce cup of 180 degree water for three minutes. The liquor is a very light amber with a round, sweet, and slightly vegetal aroma. The flavour doesn't betray the scent since it, too, is round, sweet, and faintly vegetal. It is the perfect example of a Silver Needle.
I managed to draw out enough flavour after five minute for a respectable second steep. It isn't quite as wow as the first, but it is decidedly on par with the first steep of the average Silver Needle tea.
Overall, the tea is rich and well-rounded, yet still very delicate. It is sweet and a good way to either wind down from the day or gear yourself up for the morning. This is the perfect tea for basically every occasion, and though it's higher on the price scale, Silver Needle always is, and I think it's absolutely worth it. This is an exceptional example of an excellent tea.

you should tell Stephen, maybe he counted you twice and thus CTH has an inflated rated…not that I am competitive or anything but they are neck and neck with us
