"A light sweetening enhanced the pervasiveness of the lemon flavor and was really agreeable. This made a darned good after dinner cuppa!"

This simple herbal blend offered from Serendipitea contains only certified organic and fair trade rooibos and lemon myrtle. I found that using 1.5 tablespoons of the blend to a 24 ounce infuser pot to yield the best results for me, so when considering the website recommendation of one tsp., I would say use a teaspoon per 6 ounces of boiled water rather than 8 ounces. I steeped for five minutes using freshly boiled water, according to Serendipitea's recommendation. The stronger brewing yielded a tasty, ever so slightly spicy brew that is delicious and warming and lightly lemony. The blend isn't overwhelmingly lemony, more tinged with lemon, and it's a little bit creamy. A light sweetening enhanced the pervasiveness of the lemon flavor and was really agreeable. This made a darned good after dinner cuppa! I would also definitely recommend this blend chilled for summer drinking - a little sprig of garden mint added would make a nice contrast with the lemony aspect.
I really enjoyed the simple, good flavor of this blend. It's a nice, straightforward blend, great hot or cold, and very enjoyable with a little sweetener.
