|"Not a seasonal tea, as the name suggests, this is perfect in all kinds of weather and very pleasant to sip over studies."|
Silly concerns was all that ended up being. This tea is perfect for post dinner chattery and midday warmings. When I was reading the site for this tea, I saw basil and that was all it took to secure the "must try" impulse that landed this tea in my cupboards. Summer Sunrise is a full bodied black that delivers a homogenous flavour throughout the entire cup. After about four cups of studying and sipping, I realized that I was done with my assignment and warm and fuzzy. Honestly, if this tea makes homework in molecular genetics seem light and passing, I might pressed to buy some more.
The rich dark colour had a bit of a foamy finish on top, easy to miss if your not paying attention. It was a deep mahogany brown with a spicy scent that wafted up above the steamy cup. The basil was an amazing touch, it gave off an earthy seasoning that was very comfortable and smooth. The lemon in the tea mixed well with the whole scheme and gave it a bit of a citrus kick. Also, in nearly half of the cups of Summer Sunrise that I brewed, I got this lite tickle in the back of my throat as I drank. It was usually accompanied by the herbful flavours, but whatever it was, it kept me attentive, which was a very good thing.
