I brewed this tea using a teaspoon of leaf to 8 ounces of freshly boiled water allowed to cool to just 205. I steeped for both four minutes and three minutes, and preferred a three minute steep. The tea brews copper orange in coloration and has a great flavor. Delight straightaway, even very hot. This tea is dry with a clean astringent finish and a body that is medium. While not robust, this tea is full of flavor. It's sweet and a little bit malty and has something about it that seems grain like to me in both taste and scent. Predominant are dry and sweet flavors with a great finish - clean and sweet in the mouth. I enjoyed the harmonious manner in which the dryness and sweetness play together, like children lost in a game. The sweetness is vaguely caramel like with a little tiny hint of smoky burnt sugar to it; the dryness doesn't overwhelm or smother the other flavors in the tea. Both flavors shine.
Definitely worth a try. This tea won't disappoint.
