I sampled this blend back when it was dust packed in a flat bag. So I jumped at the chance to try this new and improved recipe with bigger chunks of rooibos and decorations packed in a pyramid-style teabag. My immediate first impression is that his is better than the old somewhat dusty-tasting bagged version. The flavour is a tad fake, but it's not an overpowering quality. The orange is distinct without being too strong, and the cranberry lingers nicely in the aftertaste, acidic and tart. The rooibos makes a nice, sweet base. My only big objection is that there's a slight alcohol taste to the flavouring.
It's certainly better than the older bagged recipe, but I wouldn't say it's so much better that it's worth the extra expense. And while neither version was particularly fantastic, this was an okay flavoured herbal.

I prefer the original rooibos, hot or cold!
