The usual multihued menagerie with browns and greens dominating, and a smell of fresh citrus and grapes. It was amazing. I wasn't quite sure how to brew it, though, and there were no instructions on the Thunderbolt site specifically for this tea. I opted for a template approach of 1 tbsn. in 12oz of 200F water steeped for two-ish minutes.
The liquor brewed "citrus-wedge" orange-amber with a pleasant, nut-sweet aroma. Said smell kind of reminded me of rooibos lightly blended with ginger. The citrus comparison returned on taste with a zesty forefront that transitioned swimmingly to a grapy middle. There wasn't as much spice as I'm accustomed to with second flush Darj's, but in its place was a nectarine finish - usually Yunnan Jin territory. In short, it more than earned its gold medal in the Yumlympics. (Okay, that sounded cheesy. I don't care, I'm tired.)
