Thumbs up!"The brewing beverage smells to me pleasantly more subtle than the dry leaf does. The fruit vivaciousness has backed off full tilt cheerleading and has settled at "simply being" plus there's more than a hint of something subtly spicy and intriguing in there now. "

This is an interesting blend with a lot going on visually. I've not really encountered a honeybush tisane with the presence of so much interesting stuff in it. The blend has honeybush as well as bright orange shredded petal bits and tiny pale pink/purple flower beads that looked much like heather to me (and in fact turned out to be exactly that). In terms of scent, this tisane doesn't score high points with me. Let me explain why. The tisane is scented with passionfruit and lemon, and somehow, the scent comes across as tart and fruit punchy but also somewhat artificial. I'm a little turned off to start but I went ahead and brewed this blend up using my standard herbal infusion method. I used a heaping teaspoon of tisane to 8 ounces of freshly boiled water and allowed for a five minute infusion. I sweetened this blend with stevia.

The infused cup is a clear, lighter copper color and the taste is fruity, to be sure, but mildly so. The flavor is pretty natural in the mouth and doesn't leave an unpleasant taste or an oily residue. I think this is a fresh tasting, lightly fruity tisane that would be excellent for children, for those who like sweet and fruity teas and I can't help but think that this would be a nice iced drink in the hot months.

This is definitely a good choice for those who like fruity blends and are looking for a caffeine free option.
