This is a peony style white tea with a pretty interesting description. From Tea Distict's website: "This sweet white tea is created for those with the sweet tooth in mind. This pure Chinese White tea is infused with aromatic pineapple pieces, licorice, lemongrass and natural flavors of pineapple." The leaves are big and open and you can see the lemongrass and some nice natural looking dried pineapple that is not crystalized or candied. The scent is lemony sweet yet gentle.

As with many of the other fruit flavored offerings I've tried from Tea District, this one is natural and pleasant. No artificial tastes.

This blend needs no sweetening. It's naturally sweet and fruity, primarily lemony flavored. The pineapple is a subtle hint at the rear of the sip. There's a minor creaminess to the tea but more of a dry taste. The pineapple definitely comes out more in the cooling cup, merging nicely with the lemongrass.

This is a pretty good tasting flavored white. It's not primarily a pineapple tea, and the title of the tea might mislead some people slightly. There's a strong lemongrass presence that is very good but might be a bit of a disappointment to someone seeking a pineapple tea.
