"It's very smooth, and the Ceylon base tea is brilliant."

Apparently June is national iced tea month, so a blend made specifically for this purpose is definitely in order. I steep 1.5 teaspoons per cup at 208° for three minutes, re-steep for 5 minutes, add a few pinches of sugar, and refrigerate overnight. The blend smells fruity, floral, and naturally sweet. It tastes the same. It's a bit too sweet to be particularly refreshing, and I would like a bit of acidity to cut through, but I found adding a splash of lemon did the trick. It's very smooth, and the Ceylon base tea is brilliant.
This has enough depth to be interesting, but it isn't the greatest iced tea I've had. It's above average, though, and the sort of thing I'd throw in my Mark T. Wendell basket just for kicks. I'll definitely be enjoying the rest of this sample throughout the summer.
Visit Mark T. Wendell Teas for more information on this tea and many more from their extensive product catalogue.
