I up my Breville using 9 pearls of tea, a water temp of 210 degrees and a steep time of 2 minutes. The resulting liquor is a reddish brown verging on a burgundy color. The aroma remains sweet with tantalizing wisps of tobacco.
This is a sweeter black tea so be cautious if you tend to add sweetener. The taste is delicious! There is just the slightest hint of malt, peaches and baked apples with a note of cocoa rounding out each sip. There is a bit of dryness at the end of each sip that clears the palette.
I find that a lot of times that resteeping a black tea is just a waste. Not with this particular one however. I was able to get three good pots of tea out the leaves before they started fading. I am really impressed by this black tea and will be picking some up for my own personal stash.
