"This is a wonderful oolong without a lot of complexity making it great for sipping at any time. Personally I am considering picking some up to drink at work."

What a beautiful morning. We are into an Indian Summer that hopefully will linger for a while. Puts me into the perfect mood to sit down and write up a review for an oolong from a vendor whose teas I have very enjoyed.Upon opening my vacuum packed sample I discover wonderful little nuggets of tea that range from a lighter olive to an evergreen in color. The aroma is one that I could run around sniffing all day if it didn't make me look too much like a crack addict. It has a heavy honeysuckle fragrance that is just a delight.
I set it up in my Breville using 2 tablespoons of tea to 1200 ml of 190 degree water. I let it steep for 3 minutes. The resulting liquor is golden in coloring and the wonderful honeysuckle aroma is still very present.
This oolong has a medium body that just coats the tongue. It has a natural sweetness from the floral overtones with a just a touch of minerals underlying it all. This tea has just a hint of dryness, just enough to encourage another sip.
This is a wonderful oolong without a lot of complexity making it great for sipping at any time. Personally I am considering picking some up to drink at work.
