|"Darjeeling and Assam performing together beautifully. Completely well-balanced. "|
Myself, I love a strong black Assam on its own. This Darjeeling/Assam blend was as hearty as any plain Assam, but with a smoothness that even a weak tea-lover could appreciate.
To suit my preference, I brewed 1.5 teaspoons of leaves in 8 ounces of boiling water per cup. I steeped for 5 minutes. If you prefer more delicate teas, use a teaspoon and steep for three minutes. Reviewers on Golden Tips' website shared all manner of brewing variations, and all of them gave high ratings to this blend.
I don't use milk in any of my teas, but the pre-dominance of Assam suggests this would be tasty with milk as well. I rate it a 10 for versatility, smoothness, robustness, and freshness.
