|"A smooth tea that doesn't call any attention to itself."|
My vacuum packed sample consists of dark brown/grey leaves that don't really have much of an aroma. I pick up hints of charcoal and well a plantiness. I set it up to brew using 195 degree water and a steep time of 2 minutes. The resulting liquor is a dark old gold color and the aroma now has a hint of fruitiness that is quite enjoyable.
This tea is really hard to review because it is so middle of the road. There just isn't anything that stands about about it besides a natural sweetness. It is one of those teas that are very drinkable yet doesn't call any attention to itself. I consume a lot of tea when I am at work which paying any real attention, this is the perfect tea for that purpose.
