|"I have found that this tea, the Red Jade, is one that is good pretty much any time of the day though I do reach for something stronger in the mornings.
This tea is a Taiwanese black tea and I do see some resemblances to an oolong. The leaves are beautiful; long and hand rolled. I do really recommend weighing out these leaves as they are too long to find into a measuring spoon. The dry aroma is nutty with a hint of malt. Once brewed the liquor is a rich dark golden brown with notes of tobacco, nuts and dark chocolate. The taste is well rounded with hints of fruitiness, nuts and a baker's cocoa. It is very smooth with just a touch of dryness in the middle of each sip.
I really enjoyed this tea however it is a tad pricy for my budget. According to my sample packet, this tea is supposed to be good for multiple steeps but I found the second one to be too washed out to really enjoy.
