The fuzzy green and white needles brew up into a cup with a vibrant hay, grass, and vegetal scent. The tea is very grassy and vegetal; it's not a subtle silver needle, but the flavours are ones I like finding in my white teas. My second steep has a surprisingly brilliant scent again, but it doesn't translate well into the flavour, which is a bit bland. There's very little smokiness, which I appreciate because I prefer more delicate flavours for my silver needles, but it does come out when you steep the way I like to at work.
As far as I can tell, the company doesn't ship to Canada, always a pet peeve of mine. Overall, though, this is a solid silver needle. Although it isn't brilliant, it's got some notes I really enjoy. I won't go out of my way to get it (not that I could anyway), but it's the sort of thing I'd throw in an order if I was already buying from Teaves.
