Thumbs up!"This is a tasty tea that has everything going for it. It is a tad pricey but oh so worth it as it will hit the spot for both black tea and darjeeling lovers."

darjteaxpresssourneeMy sample from darjeeling TeaXpress was definitely a bright spot in this otherwise cold and dreary spring days. Even though this is an Autumn Flush, the aroma of this tea is just what a spring day should be. All fresh and full of green growing things. The leaves themselves are fairly large though they are broken and are a coppery brown.

Once steeped the fragrance of the liquor, which is a medium amber, is very bright with a touch of citrus. The taste itself is also very bright and of a medium mouth-feel. There are touches of citrus with just the faintest hint of a dark cocoa that sneaks up as the tea rolls over the back of my tongue. The thing that impresses me the most however is how you can tell that this tea is just loaded with tannins yet there is no bitterness. I feel like picking some up just for this reason.

This is a tasty tea that has everything going for it. It is a tad pricey but oh so worth it as it will hit the spot for both black tea and darjeeling lovers.
